Job description
Grafton Banks Finance is working with this internationally recognised business to recruit for a Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant (ACCA/ CIMA) to join this fast moving business. Although my clients preference is for a candidate currently working in industry to join their business they will also consider candidates looking for a first move from practice. Supporting the Financial Controller with day to day and month end activities you will have experience of management and financial reporting. Specifically you will be responsible for completing month end reporting packages, ensuring timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of VAT and Intrastat returns, liaising with internal and external auditors, and continually monitoring and developing processes to meet expanding business needs. Experience gained within a retail environment would be an advantage as would exposure to JD Edwards. It is paramount that applicants are confident communicating and working with non financial stakeholders and have strong IT skills.
