Job description

Michael Page Finance are currently recruiting for a qualified Accountant, most likely ACA or ACCA qualified, to join a large and progressive Finance department within an internationally recognised, blue chip company. Outstanding Finalist level candidates will also be considered. Reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager, your duties will include the following: ensuring that accounting treatment adheres to current UK GAAP/IFRS policies and procedures; preparation of monthly financial accounts including balance sheet and cash flow and supporting schedules for the group; preparation and coordination of annual statutory reports and accounts; assistance with the preparation of forecasts, budgets, five year plans and other reports. You will be a qualified Accountant or at Finalist level with your studies, and may come from either and industry or practice background. You will be technically astute and keen to work for a blue chip organisation, with excellent communication skills. Our client is an international, blue chip transportation company located in Kent.
