Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to progress their career within a market leading business. Reporting to the FC and working alongside a Management Accountant this is a stand-alone position in a Finance team of ten people. Roles/responsibilities: preparation of monthly accounts; reporting to group ensuring adherence to the corporate timetable; significant involvement in annual budget and forecasting processes; management of fixed assets and depreciation; preparation of annual financial statements; preparation of VAT return and other statutory filings; balance sheet reconciliations and investigations; supporting the FC and team where required. Skills/experience: qualified Accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA); strong technical skills; ability to use own initiative and a proactive approach; hands-on with a strong attention to detail; effective relationship builder with individuals at all levels of the organisation; excellent verbal and written communication skills essential; strong Excel skills are advantage.
