Job description
A Financial Accountant is required to attend to the following duties: to maintain the fixed asset register, including annual identification reviews and any associated write offs and to post all fixed asset related journals each month end, including depreciation; to maintain all balance sheet prepayments and post the related journals each month end, prepare the balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis for all fixed assets and prepayments accounts; to prepare all other balance sheet reconciliations for review by Finance Manager; managing 2 staff. The candidate will be qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ICEAW (or equivalent). You will have good communication skills, a team player, customer focused, have a focus for continuous improvement and an analytical and methodical approach. You will be focused at working to deadlines, including a flexible approach to working hours where necessary to achieve deadlines. You’ll be self-motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised. Our client is an established business based in Leicestershire, looking to expand its Finance team. This role will be involved supervising two members of staff, so experience of this will be essential. This organisation can offer the right candidate a varied role within a sizable business.
