Job description
Financial Accountant wanted by a leading shipping services group. The successful Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting and technical accounting, preparing local accounting ledgers and statutory accounts for the UK subsidiaries and the group. Furthermore, this financial accounting role involves development of group processes and controls, and liaison with both finance and non finance departments in ad hoc projects. The successful Financial Accountant will be a qualified Accountant with strong financial and technical skills, including knowledge of UK GAAP & IFRS, and looking to develop their financial career. Familiarity with SunSystems would be useful, and experience of the shipping industry would be beneficial but is not a necessity.
