Job description
Our client, a global Oil and Gas business with a portfolio of 20 projects is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to be responsible for the consolidated monthly reporting for the Group. This requires the production of a consolidated accounts pack for the Board of Directors. Reporting directly to the FD, responsibilities will include: interaction with subsidiaries in Italy, Hungary and Slovenia to review local financial data and translate to EU GAAP; balance sheet reconciliations; joint venture billing statements; be the point of contact for bi annual audit including preparation of audit work sheets and issue papers and attendance at Audit Committee and to ensure compliance with all local statutory reporting requirements. The successful candidate will be fully qualified with experience of working within the Oil and Gas or Mining sectors. Experience of international consolidations, foreign currency transfers and international consolidations would be advantageous.
