The successful candidate will then be instrumental in driving these new processes forward and assisting in the training of the team. The core responsibilities of this role will involve working closely with the head of finance to onshore the IFRS process and help drive the business forward. You will be to be able to technically translate technical developments to the business, detailing their impact to senior stakeholders. In addition, you will also be required to manage and produce all the fair value accounting reports (IAS 32,39, IFRS 7) but this can be taught onsite. Part of your responsibilities will include monthly reporting to head office and change within the Finance business - this role may also involve some international travel. You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified individual with a strong IFRS background. Speaking fluent German would be an advantage, as would some knowledge of investment banking products.
