Job description
Responsibilities: ensure daily and month end processes are completed timely and accurately; ensure the integrity and accuracy of the information contained in the accounting systems; perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations in accordance with company policy, including identifying, researching and resolving reconciling items; perform monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis on variances; ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance by monitoring daily and monthly documented controls; create quarter and year end audit schedules as requested; assist in projects concerning improvement of the financial control environment - ensuring that these are maintained for best practice and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, internal audit and other requirements; provide audit support and assistance as required; ad hoc projects as directed by Financial Accounting Manager or Head of Financial Accounting.
