Job description
A market leading FMCG business with a reputation for excellence requires a Financial Accountant to join its growing Finance team. Supporting the Group FC, you will enjoy a challenging yet varied role. Your duties will include: to prepare month end reporting of group functions with journal postings and nominal ledger reconciliations, review posting to group cost centres, monthly preparation of group cost centre reports; to manage fixed asset accounting for the group functions; to prepare and present the annual budgeting, annual and quarterly forecasting processes for all group cost centres; preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and VAT payments to HMRC within deadlines; monthly review of VAT entries for compiling at each quarter end. Ideally you will be a part-qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountant with a desire to join a growing business that supports and develops its employees.
