Job description
A multinational Service sector business requires a Financial Accountant. Candidates should be qualified Accountants with strong technical reporting skills and experience of working within large global businesses. Responsibilities: coordinate the annual work for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance (controls documentation, internal and external audits and other ad hoc work); produce some of the Hyperion group reporting packages; review balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure that these have been prepared and any issues identified; assist with the financial audits which take place in the UK & Ireland (management & statutory accounts); assist in the preparation of statutory accounts; other ad hoc tasks, as required. It is a long-term temporary contract. Requirements: qualified Accountant; strong knowledge and experience of working with business processes and controls; experience of preparing statutory accounts and dealing with Auditors; strong data manipulation & Excel skills; excellent interpersonal skills; working experience of SAP is essential; experience of group reporting within a large multinational group would be an advantage.
