Job description
Our client is looking for an experienced Accountant to help it during the year end period. The organisation is a large NHS Trust based in the North West. The job duties will include: reconciliation of trial balance and follow up actions; preparation of year end financial statements; preparation of supporting working papers to financial statements; dealing with queries/requests for information from Auditors; preparation of financial accounting elements of monthly board report; dealing with transactional queries re, day-to-day financial accounting issues; assisting in separation requirements - VAT registration, HMRC registration etc. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the above experience, have worked within a public sector organisation and be available on short notice.
