Job description
A strong all-round Financial Accounting role, based within head office Finance team. Responsibilities: preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting; cash flow management, year end audit file; reporting and consolidation of subsidiary accounts; supervising ledger activities; balance sheet reconciliations; internal financial control processes; financial analysis and explanatory commentary of actual performance against prior year; review of UK VAT returns; financial modelling; ad hoc project work. Requirements: qualified Accountant; commercially astute; advanced Excel; strong financial accounting skills; IFRS and UK GAAP; would suit candidates from commercial or Practice backgrounds.
