Job description
Our client, a unique Service organisation in Monmouthshire is currently looking for a Finance Manager to be a key part of the Management team. You will be the technical Finance Manager responsible for the following: preparation of monthly consolidated accounts for the company group to a tight deadline for board and bank presentation; provision of detailed analysis of business critical items against budget and forecast; preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and adjustment of reconciling items; responsibility for all financial reporting systems including debtors, creditors, nominal ledger and fixed assets; continuous review and enhancement of the control environment; management of external audit, due diligence and special bank report processes; quarterly VAT return preparation and manage/mitigate the irrecoverable VAT exposure; management of fixed asset register.
