Job description
A progressive subsidiary of a major international PLC seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to be part of the Senior Finance team. Initially, your role will involve you in the implementation of new financial systems. Duties will also include the preparation of statutory accounts, preparation of monthly reports for the Board of Directors together with planning and forecasting. Managing a small team, you will be involved in the timely preparation of monthly financial and management accounts including the provision of variance analysis, balance sheet controls and liaison with Internal Auditors. Ideally, a professional qualification is required (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) however relevant experience in a large organisation will also be considered. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards based Accounts will be useful as is experience of systems implementation. You can expect good career prospects in a stable and prestigious organisation.
