Job description
A community Healthcare provider based in West Surrey has asked us to source a Financial Controller/Accountant to set up and lead this new organisation’s Financial Accounting team. The role will initially be set up as a contract but is expected to become permanent after an initial three month period. At that time this role will be banded 8b under agenda for change and so will pay an annual salary of between £45,254 and £55,945. This organisation will be established as a limited company as part of a well known group of companies. It will have an initial turnover of £110m and will provide independent health services to the NHS. Applicants will be expected to have a CCAB qualification and to have worked both in commerce and the NHS. In addition to the normal financial accounting responsibilities: statutory accounts, credit control, treasury, VAT etc; applicants will also be required to take responsibility for the creation of the company's Financial Accounting team and staff management thereafter, the implications of IFRS and reporting to Government. Applicants without a CCAB qualification plus experience of working in both the NHS and commerce will not be considered and so should not apply.
