Job description
Located in Newbury, with an annual turnover in excess of £40million, this market-leading company is currently hiring for an ambitious Financial Accountant to work alongside the FD. This company is now preparing for the next phase of their development and so they require a talented individual who can help fuel this growth, whilst developing their own role. The salary offered is expected to be £40,000-45,000, with a full benefits package and excellent career prospects. Duties will include: completion of consolidated group accounts and reporting pack; direct supervision of four staff covering payroll, credit control and treasury functions; management of cash forecasting for the group; responsibility for the group's statutory accounts, VAT, PAYE and tax related matters; assisting the FD with banking and investor reporting, possible acquisitions by the group and other project work. To be considered for this role you will be a qualified Accountant with an appropriate amount of technical experience. It is also important that you are able to be adaptable and flexible, in order to cope with a changing role, within a growing and progressive company.
