Job description
A leading Home Entertainment Retailer seeks a qualified (ACA/CIMA) Accountant. The business is about to transfer its distribution business to a new vendor and as a result its FC will be seconded to project manage the changes to its accounting processes and finance streams, this role will provide support the FC and interim cover for their role. Your responsibilities will be varied and will include providing support to the FD, including project work and ad hoc process improvements. Meanwhile you will maintain month end financial accounting activities, interacting with regional management and head office in the US. The ideal candidate will have post qualified experience. You will have sharp attention to detail, be a logical thinker with experience of process improvement. Applicants must have prior experience of SAP and industry experience (film, TV, entertainment) is an advantage. You will be happy to commit to the duration of the project and be available at short notice.
