Job description
Our UK client is a 200m t/o privately owned Services company and a key part of a multinational group that enjoys an enviable market share worldwide. The group has an annual turnover of 1.2 billion and is recognised in its industry as a quality player delivering premium products and service to its clients, which include many household name global organisations. You’ll be responsible for: reporting to the Finance Manager (Reporting); communicating internal controls requirements and changes within the business; testing & reporting on internal controls across various business processes; follow-up on internal control weaknesses and assist in recommendations; overall responsibility of reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and follow-up on action points; assisting in balance sheet budgets & forecasts; development of balance sheet reporting to facilitate review & reflect cash flow impact. Requirements: qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant work experience; strong & confident communicator especially in meetings; ability to challenge and question to clarify understanding; problem solving abilities with a partnership approach; relationship management both within and external to the department; ability to manage varied work load, prioritise and meet strict deadlines.
