Job description
Communicate is currently recruiting on behalf of an international, multifaceted Media organisation in West London which is seeking a Financial Accountant to join on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months. Reporting to a high-calibre and dynamic Production Finance Manager, the successful Financial Accountant will be a technically proficient Accountant with added commercial acumen to add real value in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include: ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures under UK GAAP and IFRS; contribution towards the production and consolidation of the group statutory accounts; completion of year end reporting; and liaising with the Statutory Auditors to ensure their requirements are met. A concise and clear communicator is required, as the successful candidate will be responsible for reporting these results to the FD and/or the board. Candidates will ideally come from a Big 4 chartered background and will have some relevant post qualified experience.
