Job description
A leading Financial Services organisation based in West Yorkshire is looking to recruit a qualified Accountant for an interim basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant you will have responsibility for assisting in the production of accounts for the year end as well as managing the balance sheet and performing audit duties. You will have responsibility for external reporting, financial analysis and management accounting and previous experience working for a large corporate business and IFRS exposure is essential. The successful applicant will be a strong and experienced Accountant with preferably experience of working for a Financial Services company or will be straight out of practice. Strong part-qualified as well as qualified candidates will be considered and the successful applicant will have strong verbal and written skills and should have the ability to communicate persuasively across a wide range of professional groups. The applicant should also have: good-to-advanced Excel; demonstrate flexibility, drive, enthusiasm & commitment; have a can-do approach; be a problem solver and a strong customer service focus.
