Job description
This leading company based along the M4 corridor seeks a technically astute qualified Financial Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to join their UK head office. We seek an energetic and highly academic candidate to work closely with the Financial Controller. Using your technical expertise you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the UK financial accounts, coupled with the accounting for various ongoing projects, all within US GAAP and local statutory requirements. You will also play a key role in defining initiatives to simplify existing processes and take ownership of more discrete areas such as pension audit and Treasury. You will have international accounting experience, the ability to lead month and year-end close downs and a strong understanding of tax and statutory accounting. Advanced IT skills are also a pre-requisite, particular within Excel.
