Job description
Reed Finance is assisting an Engineering/Manufacturing business based in Yeovil, which is seeking a Financial Accountant to work within a small but busy Accounts team. Working with and reporting to the FC, you will assist with the management of a team of 4. You’ll take responsibility for submission of financial statements, statutory returns, month end file and all aspects of cash management, ensuring compliance with company procedures. You will also gain involvement in business modelling, forecasting, budgeting, project costing and WIP, implementing lean practices and carry out ad hoc projects for the FC. This opportunity would suit an ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant (or equivalent) with experience gained in the manufacturing sector. You should be open to change, willing to challenge assumptions and practices, able to communicate effectively with non-finance Managers and to effectively build good working relationships.
