Job description
Lyons Recruitment is retained to recruit for a client who is continuing to grow and perform well. Due to recent further acquisitions, they require a Financial Accountant to join their expanding team in their York head office. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will initially help with the set-up and accounting of the recently acquired projects. This will progress into a wide varied financial accounting role which will include: Production of quarterly management accounts; Preparation of year-end statutory accounts; Analysis of management accounts; VAT returns; Financial management activities such as liaising with clients and monitoring of development appraisals. Ideal candidates will have trained within a public practice firm and be ACA or ACCA qualified. With the company continuing to be acquisitive, career progression opportunities will always arise.
