Job description
Our client is a marketing leading manufacturer of branded food, drinks and complementary products. They are currently seeking a commercially astute Financial Accounting Analyst, with the capability to progress through this forward-thinking and progressive organisation. Reporting to the Site FC, you will take responsibility for the production, reporting, analysis and control of all site financial information specific to the general ledger and financial planning and profitability system. You will further manage and develop all aspects of the month end process ensuring financial and procedural control are in line with corporate policy. Working as part of a small dedicated team, you will be responsible for VAT payments, statutory accounts, tax analysis as well as ongoing review of audit trail and balance sheet control. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious part-qualified/qualified ACA/ACCA looking for career development. This role is one of the more technical areas of Finance and requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to accounting principles. Highly numerate, you will be of graduate calibre and be able to demonstrate not only your technical ability but show a keen commercial and business acumen. This role has been highlighted as a launch pad to other opportunities across the wider UK and Euro business. Interviews will be held in Leeds on September 2010. Salary on offer is £25,000 £30,000 per annum plus study support and company benefits package.
