Job description
Our client, an international blue chip organisation, is looking to appoint a Financial Accounting Manager, to act as a key conduit to all Operational functions and ensure that new finance initiatives are effectively implemented. The role holder will be an integral part of the monthly closing and reporting process and will ensure that robust controls and processes are in place moving forwards. Key accountabilities will include driving operational process improvements, ensuring financial integrity with reference to statutory and US GAAP reporting, leading the accounts reconciliation process, liaising with and successfully influencing senior management, managing both monthly and quarterly financial reporting, working seamlessly with Auditors and mentoring the Financial Accounting team. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (preferably ACA) with strong accounting and analytical skills. Applicants must be strong communicators with the ability to present complex information in a simple fashion and capable of driving change. A high level of Excel skill is highly desirable.
