Job description
My client a multibillion Telecomms Player based in Hertfordshire is looking to recruit a Financial Accounting Manager to join its vibrant and exciting team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work for a major player in its sector, within a relatively small team that has access to the overall business strategy. Reporting to the FD your responsibilities will include: drawing up and completing statutory UK GAAP accounts as well as supporting statutory compliance; ensuring month end processes are set up and work appropriately; preparation of monthly management accounts; maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders including Board Directors, Senior Finance teams and service delivery partners. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ideally from an ACA background) with a strong technical background, strong UK GAAP exposure. Telecomms experience would be a very strong advantage but is not essential.
