The role

Reporting to the FC, you’ll help to ensure the profitability of our Business-to-Business activities. Specifically, that will involve working with the FC to assess contract profitability and providing the Clinical Business Development team with financial support on all contract tenders. There’ll be opportunities to develop and implement new operational financial procedures and to take ownership for the financial reporting for Dr Thom activities. We’ll also expect you to produce regular management information for internal and external stakeholders that gives a clear picture of our activities.

About you

As a commercially minded qualified Accountant with plenty of commercial experience you’ll have outstanding analytical and spreadsheet skills. An outstanding communicator, capable of working cross-functionally, you’ll have the knowledge and expertise needed to drive process improvements and be the kind of person who can quickly grasp the factors that are likely to affect contract profitability. You’ll also have the confidence and ability to articulate those factors clearly and to call for change where it makes commercial sense.
