Job description
Hays is currently recruiting for a large hospitality organisation based in the centre of Birmingham. You will be one of four Analyst reporting directly to the Finance Manager and deputising in their absence. The ideal candidate will good have strong analytical skills, the ability to work well when under pressure/deliver to deadlines. You will be a hands-on team player able to operate within a standardised environment, having good communication skills. You will have experience within a finance team in a retail or other large organisation; have good knowledge of key financial entries and balance sheet reconciliations and an excellent knowledge of Excel. The main responsibilities of the role will include the delivery of the Managed P&L information to an agreed level of accuracy and in an effective manner. To deliver a consistent approach in the processing of relevant financial inputs to ensure all allocated control account reconciliations are completed on time and that current high levels of Financial Control are maintained. To assist in the calculation and approval process for retail bonuses.
