Job description

DST Global Solutions, a major player in software-based solutions for the Investment Management industry, is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to Business Partner with the Investment Management Solutions line of business. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis this is an exciting and challenging role for a highly capable financial professional to make a significant contribution to the business.

The successful candidate will strengthen relationships with the Senior Management team and be responsible for MI reporting, performance analysis and providing advice on improving profitability.

Key deliverables for the successful candidate will include:
  • Shaping reporting for presentation to stakeholders outside of the Finance department outlining key profit drivers and messages.
  • Providing detailed performance analysis on current and future performance and giving advice on how to improve growth.
  • An excellent understanding of business dynamics and challenges.
  • Influencing decision-making and being the point of contact for the Senior Management team.
  • Striving to continuously improve reporting methods, processes, analysis and system leverage.
  • Supporting quarterly forecasting, budget and three-year strategic planning process.
In order to be considered for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Professional accounting qualification with demonstrable post qualified experience. Ideally CIMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA.
  • QBE considered if strong relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in organisation that provides professional services or a software house is desirable.
  • Experience working within an International Group FP&A function is desirable.
  • Exemplary ability to build credibility with colleagues at all levels of the organisation through personal influence, enthusiasm, professionalism, flexibility and responsiveness.
  • The ability to challenge where necessary.
  • Strong written, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
