Job description
Be immediately available and able to commit to a contract of approximately 6 months. You should be Degree educated, qualified Accountant with previous experience of analysis, management accounting, budgeting and forecasting ideally gained within a corporate, divisional structure. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite however an ability to demonstrate experience in liaising effecting with senior management and non-finance staff would be ideal. Key deliverables of the role include: reviewing accounting transactions on an ongoing basis; assist with contract accounting issues; ensuring that appropriate decisions are made; maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliancy and Sarbanes-Oxley responsibility; aspects of revenue accounting; producing accurate month end numbers for the division; managing and controlling a complex newly created budget; financial planning and forecasting of both revenue numbers and internal costs; controlling spend to maximise bottom line profitability for the business. A successful major US multinational requires commercially orientated Financial Analyst to support newly created division. Following a sustained period of sales growth, they are creating a new division to manage an evolving c£100m line of business. Several roles will be filled through internal promotion, but my client is seeking a high calibre Management Accountant to additionally bring new ideas in from outside the company.
