Job description
Morgan McKinley is currently recruiting for a global organisation looking to recruit a Financial Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract, which may extend for a longer period. The role is based in South Wales close to Cardiff. Working within a busy team and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation going through a period of change. This role is responsible for: assisting Directors and budget holders with financial decision-making; leading the budgeting and forecasting cycle within business support services; working globally with non-finance budget holders helping control budgets and understand implications of overspend; provide accounting support for ad hoc projects and initiatives; prioritising and scheduling work in accordance to deadline and importance. To be suitable for this role you must have: an MBA, CCAB qualification or be studying for professional exams; experience within a finance, planning and analysis arena; excellent communication skills and experience of working with non-finance budget holders; in-depth knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
