Job description
This global fashion retailer is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to report into the Finance Manager and support in the following areas: produce weekly reports (sales trackers, KPI reports); run month end reports through Cognos, ensuring the data is reconciled to the ledgers, refresh and analyse month end pack reports; assist in the preparation and analysis of the quarterly forecasts and annual budget; assist in analysis and ad hoc requests from Retail Area Managers; analysis of head office cost centres through monthly review meetings with budget holders; analysis of capital expenditure and ad hoc analysis as directed by Line Manager or through own initiative. The successful Financial Analyst will be educated to degree level and ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification. Experience of working within a retail finance function would be desirable. You will have excellent systems experience including Excel to intermediate level. Knowledge of Cognos would be advantageous. You will also need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
