Job description
One of the UK’s best recognised Retail brands, based in Central London, has recently engaged communicate to aid in the search for a fully-qualified Commercial Finance Analyst to cover a period of increased workload on the back of a successful, trend-bucking period of growth! Reporting directly to a dynamic Commercial Finance Manager (food), the Financial Analyst will enjoy the broadest possible brief and will be exposed to some highly commercial, front-line projects. It is essential that candidates (ideally an ACA or CIMA qualified Accountant with blue chip experience) come from a retail and or/FMCG background with knowledge of brands and merchandising. As the company continues to grow and capture more market share in the Food sales environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for the profitability analysis of new products and promotional offers. They will, ideally, have an understanding of pricing and modelling and will be able to hit the ground running in a high-paced, ever-changing commercial environment. The Financial Analyst will act as a true Business Partner to the Marketing, Sales and Stores teams and will, therefore, have unrivalled communication skills and genuine commercial acumen. This is an exceptional opportunity and one that does not come along often. Therefore, interested applicants should apply immediately to be considered and must be available to start immediately/on short notice.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
