Job description
Qualified and looking to build on your commercial finance experience? Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst you will work closely with the Sales Director, Operations Director and other key non-Finance Managers. As Financial Analyst you will be: solely responsible for all management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the division with revenues circa £10m; provision of information to the Director and other budget holders; preparation of monthly management accounts for all services within the account; monthly review and reconciliation of the profit centre on the nominal ledger; monthly reporting to Central Finance via Hyperion; preparation of commentary on monthly numbers for submission to the Divisional FC and the Divisional Managing Director; preparation of annual budget and 3 annual forecasts including detailed analysis and commentary; preparation of weekly sales reports to track revenue performance. You will be qualified CIMA or equivalent. The successful candidate must have proven ability to work off their initiative, manage their time and prioritise effectively. Budgeting and forecasting experience is essential as is a proven ability to manage the number, not just report them. Experience in dealing with and preparing reports for non-finance people would be a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel skills are required and experience of working with Hyperion and Business Objects would be a distinct advantage.
