Job description
As part of a global strategic transformation project our client requires an analytical & project focused commercial finance individual to assess the current head office and pan-European costs including cost allocation method. Summary: assessment and understanding of current head office and countries costs including the current cost allocation method; advising on and supporting management on a revised head office cost allocation method; ensuring impacts of new allocation method correctly captured in 2011 budget assumptions; supporting the PMO with strategic scenario planning and modelling exercises; providing PMO support. Key accountabilities include: accurate and detailed analysis of head office and countries costs; accurately remodelling of head office costs on new allocation method; providing excellent mode ling skills on strategic scenario plans; providing support on ad hoc projects. Essential: part/qualified Accountant/Finalist; advanced Excel skills required; Essbase/HFM/skills also preferred; strong analytical skills; excellent financial mode ling skills; multinational company experience; corporate head office experience preferred; strong reporting, technical accounting and control skills. Challenges: to understand and access historical reporting systems; to propose a simple and meaningful cost allocation process; to create tools to support simulation; to create the necessary relationships to influence at all levels.
