Job description
A Financial Analyst is required: to be a key member of the Commercial Finance team, providing ad hoc analysis, insight and appraisal to enable challenge and guidance to support the MD and other members of the Executive team in making good commercial decisions for the business; to proactively assist the Commercial FD in ensuring that all business decisions have financial integrity and investigate all risks and opportunities associated in implementing such initiatives; to provide ad hoc support in the development and implementation of proposals to grow business profitability and performance. The candidate will be/have: a Finalist or qualified in ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent), experience of providing financial support and challenge at Director level and operations' decision forums, previous project management experience working with cross functional project teams, ability to demonstrate previous experience of interpretation of strategic business objectives; prior experience of systems project work and integration desirable; recognised accounting qualification essential; advanced software skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Business Objects and JD Edwards.
