Job description
The role is for a talented Financial Analyst providing financial decision support and commercial advice. Our global FTSE 100 client distributes and provides business solutions support throughout the UK. After years of consistent growth, the business was effected by the economic climate however, has bounced back by working smarter and having a business focused approach to continuing cost reduction, also strengthened by their market leading profile. Having successfully grown over time to become a market leader in their field, my client has successfully reviewed, challenged and improved business practices throughout the economic downturn to ensure they remain at the forefront of their industry. This position is imperative to ensure the decisions being made by the Senior Management team are based on sound financial analysis. This job sits at the sharp end of finance. It challenges individuals into striving to be the best, providing a proactive service to the Senior Management team and Area Managers. There is nowhere to hide, the reports produced in this role are visible across the UK business, which demands the ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise the work load, whist developing strong working relationships with internal customers. That is why we need talented Commercial Finance Analysts to continue this focused approach, someone who will get involved in the strategic planning of the business unit, provide budgeting & forecasting, and be responsible for controlling capital. You will also be involved in developing and reporting on KPIs. Above all you need to become an expert and understand the numbers. You will be highly motivated, part-qualified or qualified. You should already be either in a similar role or looking to take the next step in your career.
