Job description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst for a Services company based in Surrey; easily commutable from Woking, Leatherhead, Dorking and Crawley. The Financial Analyst will be reporting to the FD of the Group. The main focus of this new role is to provide modelling and analytical support for the group and in particular the group’s shareholders. The key duties will include: assisting the FD in the financial planning of all the group’s entities in particular: assistance with financial modelling; updating for actuals, forecasting, scenario analysis, group cash flows and ad hoc Shareholder requests of the Groups financial models; the preparation of quarterly bank reporting including compliance certificates and covenant test reporting; preparation of the parent entities quarterly financial accounts leading to the group’s quarterly consolidations; assist the FD and MD in the annual budgeting process of its companies operating budgets together with re forecasting and reporting variances; provide support in the production of the groups annual and interim accounts currently reported under UK GAAP. The successful candidate will have: strong academic background degree level essential, qualified ACA/ACCA preferable however will consider CIMA with relevant financial modelling experience; advanced Excel and financial modelling skills are essential, together with a high standard of analytical skills.
