Job description
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our client, a large Financial Services organisation based in Leeds. Key responsibilities of the Financial Analyst job will include: assist the daily Treasury function, ensuring that the business holds optimal cash levels and can fulfil expense obligations as they arise, with the Treasury Analyst; ensure all treasury settlements, including intercompany recharges; loan interest; loan repayments; etc, are completed on time; administration of company’s loans; month end balance sheet reconciliations; administration of reconciliation submission data; month end journal postings; assisting the Controllership team with month end reporting; maintenance of sales ledger; monitoring and tracking of system to interfaces; monitoring and clearance of suspense accounts. The ideal Financial Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills: essential; basic understanding of accounting principles; ability to analyse and present large volumes of numerical data; good spreadsheet skills; good communication skills; working knowledge of relevant procedures & systems; some work experience in an accounting environment.
