Job description
Duties: working with Assistant Accountant to develop the daily sales reporting; carry out detailed analysis of the monthly sales income figures; investigate unusual variances to budgets and prior year, being proactive in obtaining and communicating explanations for these prior to the monthly submissions of the results; assist the Regional Controller in producing the sales income (volume, value and margin) figures for the mid month flash; produce sales income analysis and commentary at regional and local level for inclusion in the regional management commentary. The candidate will be at final stage of CIMA or ACCA or qualified. This will be a high profile role requiring strong communication, analytical and presentation skills. You must also have a good attention to detail and keen to make a difference. Good Excel skills essential. Our client is an established business based in the Leicestershire area of East Midlands.
