Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Analyst to join one of the region’s most successful Logistics businesses. Reporting to the Divisional FC your role will be varied and have a real commercial effect on the direction of the business. You will be responsible for the reporting and analysis across a number of contracts and sites and have extensive interaction with the Operations Managers and Directors. You will also be responsible for the production of weekly sales statistics across a number of business streams, production and development of KPIs, production of the monthly management pack and assisting with budgeting and re-forecasting. You will also be responsible for the supervision and development of a small team of part-qualified Accountants. You will also be expected to challenge the Operations team and assist business growth by utilising your financial modelling skills. The successful candidate will be either a Finalist or qualified with strong Excel and analytical skills. Experience in a logistics/multi-site environment would be an advantage.
