Job description

Assisting the Financial Manager to establish and develop internal controls and other financial, reporting and operational matters and so promoting best practice within the business. Visiting the subsidiaries to review performance, assess key controls and give advice and recommendations to the finance teams. Assisting in the development, implementation and support of group policies and procedures, ensuring these are consistently applied across the Group. Assisting with SOX compliance project for Head Office reporting purposes, and taking action on remedial actions that are highlighted. Liaising closely with Groups Audit and Risk Management function to ensure controls are up to date and key controls are operating effectively. Working with the Finance Manager on the development of the FinOps department as well as assisting with the production of daily and monthly Billings and Collections reports. Roles/responsibilities: ACA qualified Experience gained in a commercial role A good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards would be an advantage. Numerical and verbal reasoning skills should also be strong. Good Excel skill.
