Job description
A leading global company requires a Senior Financial Analyst to gather, monitor, interpret and analyse financial concepts. You will provide financial management information reporting and be accountable for keeping financial projects on task and within budget. Maintaining knowledge, the Financial Analyst will stay abreast of developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance and economic theory. Key duties of the position will include: developing budgets; financial reporting; monthly revenue and expense forecasting; variance analysis; preparing business cases which support capital spending and policing internal control policies and procedures. You will be able to capture highly complex business processes in financial models in spreadsheet format. The role holder will also interface with various internal accounting and finance functions, which may include financial reporting, tax, internal audit and/or Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. The ideal candidate will possess European and US GAAP knowledge and experience of liaising with External Auditors, Corporate Treasury and Internal Audit to support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing and audit. You will also possess extensive knowledge of Excel spreadsheets for financial modelling purposes, involving complex architectures and up to Visual Basic level and experience of Reporting tool Essbase would be desirable.
