Job description
A leading Investment bank is looking for a Financial Analyst for the European Flow Interest Rate Swaps business in its London based European headquarters. Responsibilities include: analysis of risk based explanations for P&L movements along with commentary referencing external market movements and analysis of trends/behaviour/escalation; price verification (PV) of inputs and outputs used in trading models both intra month and at end of month; discussion of PV variances with the front office driving accountability for variances; calculation and review of valuation adjustments and reserves including methodologies and policies; ad hoc projects, including PV process enhancements, balance sheet analysis, system development and firm wide query resolution; support and advice to the Business on items such as balance sheet, funding, collateral, cost base and capital requirement analysis. Requirements: accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA); product knowledge; excellent academics; strategic thinking.
