Job description
A world leading Oil and Gas company is seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst to work in its Central London office on a permanent basis. The successful Financial Analyst will work with traders, operations and other team members to provide high quality, ‘No Surprises’ analysis of financial information with detailed commentary from the Central London base. This role will offer huge potential to gain valuable experience and climb the corporate ladder in a progressive, modern and exciting environment. Key responsibilities to include: monthly forecast and reporting of Gas volumes and prices, with explanations of any forecast differences; providing Upstream with volume and pricing information; liaising closely with Upstream, traders and Operations to maintain accuracy of reported information; producing monthly and quarterly financial reports for local and Upstream corporate management including variance analyses. Essential criteria: proficient knowledge and experience of MS Excel; excellent academics - a 2:1 grad or better who is CIMA or ACCA part-qualified; proven analytical abilities; knowledge of the SAP accounting system. The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary in the region of £35,000-42,000 per annum depending on experience.
