Job description

I am currently assisting a large City Bank with the recruitment of a Financial Analyst within its Savings team. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a project to support preparations for Divestment. We are looking for somebody extremely proactive who can work within a changing environment and adapt as required. You will need to have strong financial analysis skills and have experience with financial systems and transaction activities. This role will include: detailed review of the P&L and balance sheet for all businesses involved; preparation for the Due Diligence process, including supporting the Auditors by providing them with financial information; support all planning and reporting for Divestment business; understanding cost and risks involved with the programme; reporting on the performance of the business to the Central team. This is a new project, which requires somebody who can define processes and structures from day one. You will need a background with a large bank or have finished with a Top 4 practice within transaction services or Financial Services (savings would be desirable) and it is essential you are a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent.
