Job description
Our Client, a leading bank, is currently seeking a high calibre part qualified accountant to join their group systems team. The team manages and co-ordinates the reimbursement of any contribution to the system development, by collecting the share of costs consumed by the entities and distributing it to the suppliers who contributed effort to the systems development. Responsibilities include: day to day running of the Group Systems recharge process; there is an offshore function formed of 4 team members, working with the offshore team will form a large part of the role; annual planning & quarterly plan updates for all Group Systems, monitoring actual spend against planned spend, pursuing explanation and resolution on variances; liaising directly with the regional entity contacts, IT owners and other interested parties. The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant with strong analytical and excel skills. They will also have relevant experience gained within a FTSE 100 company or a large bank; ideally you will also have gained this experience at a group level.
