Job description
As a fast growing FMCG company and Commercial Finance team is now seeking a fully qualified Financial Analyst to Partner to realise its future growth ambitions. The role accountabilities will include: analytical support in development of short and long-term plans for the brands for Senior Management review; timely development, preparation and presentation of accurate monthly forecasts of sales, promotional, marketing and operational expenditure for Senior Management review; presentation of monthly results to non-financial people, engaging stakeholders by identifying key messages and delivering numbers with insight; use of analytical techniques and models to assist in business decision-making, including profitability analysis for both customers and products; accurate preparation of year end/month end results with full variance analysis against key targets, including accruals, prepayments and monthly trade and over-rider balance sheet reconciliations. The successful candidate will need to be qualified in CIMA or ACCA with experience within a similar commercial role providing decision support and insight. Strong communication skills coupled with a fit with company values will be critical as will having a hunger for bringing your career to life.
