Job description
My client, a large multinational company, is recruiting a Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, you will work closely with the Sales, Operations teams and other key non-Finance Managers. As Financial Analyst, you will be solely responsible for all management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the division. Key duties will include: preparation of monthly management accounts for all services within the account; monthly review and reconciliation of the profit centre on the nominal ledger; monthly reporting to central finance; preparation of commentary on monthly numbers for submission to the Divisional FC and the Divisional Managing Director; preparation of annual budget and 3 annual forecasts including detailed analysis and commentary; preparation of weekly sales reports to track revenue performance. Ideally you will be qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, the successful candidate must have proven ability to work off their initiative, manage their time and prioritise effectively. Budgeting and forecasting experience is essential as is a proven ability to manage the number, not just report them. Experience in dealing with and preparing reports for non-finance people would be a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel skills are required.
