Job description
Capita Plc is the UK’s leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Professional Services company. Capita IT Services is part of The Capita Group Plc and designs, implements, supports and operates IT infrastructures, networks, applications and processes. This has necessitated a complete restructure of the business which will evolve during 2012 and has lead to the creation of this new role. Key responsibilities: production of monthly management accounts predominately using SAP and Excel; budgeting and forecasting for the operational areas of responsibility; financial and commercial support to Senior Management in operations; challenge business process and support change initiatives from a financial point of view; prepare and review business cases supporting change initiatives; promote strong cost control and be rigorous in identifying any financial risks and opportunities; ensure compliance with group policies and procedures; support IT services wide finance initiatives and be prepared to work across functions in relation to this; any other ad hoc analysis and project work as defined by the SFM.
